Oct 22nd, 2004 · Jill Sobule is best known for her 1995 hit, "I Kissed A Girl" -- a song about a cultural fascination with women having intimate relations with other women. Music critic Will Hermes has followed this seemingly one-hit wonder artist, and thinks she has a lot more to say about pop culture. Her songs are often small, nostalgic stories. In fact, one song on Sobule's new CD Underdog Victorious uses the melody from the 1970s hit song "Saturday in the Park," but tells a very different tale.

A 1995 horseback riding accident left him paralyzed from the neck down. After the accident, he became a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research. Oct 4th, 2004 · Leigh became famous for her role in the Alfred Hitchcock film Psycho. She starred as Marion Crane, the young woman who killed in the shower by Norman Bates. Leigh wrote about the film in the 1995 book Psycho: Janet Leigh Behind the Scenes of The Classic Thriller. She died at 77.
