Jul 19th, 2004 · Bryan Clay, a 24-year-old, relatively small (5 feet 11 inches and 184 pounds) athlete, pulls an upset win at the U.S. track and field Olympic decathlon trials, beating out heavily favored --- and much bigger -- 2003 world champion Tom Pappas.
