Dec 10th, 2008 · Washington D.C. plans to party during inauguration week. For some reason, this plan has not met with unanimous approval. The city last week approved allowing bars to serve alcohol until 5 a.m from Jan 17 to Jan. 21. Two Senators involved with inauguration plans want the city to drop that idea. They say police already will be busy providing security for millions. Let's not even talk about whether there are enough bathrooms on the National Mall.
