Jan 7th, 2009 · On tour with a full band, Woven Hand's David Eugene Edwards went solo at Bob Boilen's desk with his mandolin-banjo hybrid, a unique instrument made in 1897 by the Pullman Palace Car Company. He performs his fiery Americana, as well as a plaintive take on Bob Dylan's "As I Went Out One Morning."

Dec 4th, 2008 · Legendary folksinger Odetta visited Mountain Stage nine times during her highly influential, 50-year career. Today's Mountain Stage features video of an interview and set she did in 2006 at the Paramount Center for the Arts in Bristol, Tenn./Va. Odetta died on Dec. 2, but her powerful voice and graceful character live on through the countless people she inspired, including fellow musicians Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin.
Nov 19th, 2008 · In their fourth appearance on Mountain Stage, the modern-day Irish traditionalists in Solas perform songs from their latest release, Love and Laughter. The set opens with a series of jigs and a traditional Irish love song, and later ends with a rendition of Bob Dylan's "Seven Curses."
