Newton Group Stakes Claim to 'Burn' ***

Aug 1st, 2005 · In Oakland, the non-profit Huey P. Newton Foundation wants to trademark the phrase "Burn Baby Burn" and use it to brand and sell hot sauce to raise money. "Burn Baby Burn" is forever linked to the 1965 Watts riots. The Black Panthers were founded one year later, in 1966.
