Karl Rove tells the Associated Press that Sarah Palin's extreme celebrity won't last until the election. He still praises the choice, and also says John McCain's demeanor has improved. Back in 2000, the campaign against McCain included questions about his fierce temper. Now Rove says McCain is calmer than in 2000, when he was "a little bit of a hothead."
