Dec 10th, 2008 · Researchers looked at suicides over the past 30 years, and found that Las Vegas residents have a much higher suicide rate than residents of other cities in fact, it's twice as high. They also found that visitors to Vegas have a higher suicide rate than Vegas residents. And when Las Vegas residents leave Las Vegas their suicide risk drops by 20 percent.
