Sep 7th, 2008 · Hurricane Ike has passed over Haiti and is now steaming toward the Gulf of Mexico, leaving devastation in its wake. Flooding has hampered relief efforts in the port city of Gonaives, Haiti, which is still suffering from the effects of Tropical Storm Hanna.
Sep 1st, 2008 · Hurricane Gustav is being blamed for more than 80 deaths in the Caribbean over the past week as it swept across several countries.
Aug 30th, 2008 · Residents are fleeing New Orleans in buses, trains, planes and cars as Hurricane Gustav strengthens and barrels toward the U.S. Gulf Coast. Gustav has already killed more than 80 people in the Caribbean, and is forecasted to make landfall on Louisiana's central coast Monday afternoon.
