Nov 18th, 2008 · Washington hotels are getting booked up and charging high rates for President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration Jan. 20. Visitors could stay in nearby Maryland or Virginia. But if crowds make that impossible, Sen. Bob Casey has a tip. He's urging people to stay in his state of Pennsylvania. He's sent his Senate colleagues a list of hotels, some of which are as close as 90 minutes away.
Nov 6th, 2008 · Army Sgt. Nick Casey of Canton, Ohio, was killed recently in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan. The 22-year-old is remembered most for the pride he took in his sometimes beleaguered inner-city high school. Days after his death, family and friends went back to Timken High School in Casey's memory.

Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania will speak Tuesday at the 2008 Democratic National Convention, where his dad was denied a speaking role at Bill Clinton's 1992 convention for opposing abortion rights. The senator says he won't talk about abortion, which he opposes, but rather about why he thinks Barack Obama is better suited to fix the broken economy than John McCain.

Nov 15th, 2007 · Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army Gen. George Casey told Senators on Thursday that the current demands on the Army exceed "the sustainable supply." His warning came as Democratic leaders in Congress tried to enact legislation that would cut off funding for the Iraq war at the end of next year.
