Man Charged With Calling 911 For Ride

Dec 30th, 2009 · The sheriff's office in Pinellas County, Fla., say Gregory Oras called 911 three times early Tuesday morning. He said people were shooting at him. Police raced to the scene to discover the caller was just leaving a bar, and he wanted a ride to another bar. Police put him into a car, but not to his preferred destination. He was charged with making a false 911 call.
