Stimulus grants and other incentives are attracting companies planning to build electric vehicles to Elkhart. It's hoped the electric vehicles will fill the void created by a serious slump in the sales of motor homes and other recreational vehicles.

Andy Hann of Fountain Hills Door and Supply in Arizona says until the construction industry rebounds, he's not going to be able to hire any workers.
