Indian officials say the gunmen who invaded that city, killing nearly 200 people, arrived by boat from Pakistan, and that the only surviving gunman is a Pakistani. Indian politicians are demanding that Pakistan's government act decisively to get rid of the violent Islamist extremists operating on Pakistani soil.

Nov 28th, 2008 · Among the Americans killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks was an ultra-orthodox rabbi and his Israeli wife. Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg was found dead after Indian commandos stormed a Jewish community center in the city. The center was one of 10 targets attacked on Wednesday.
