Frozen Turkey Thwarts N.C. Carjacking

Nov 25th, 2008 · Police in Raleigh, N.C. say a man tried to steal a woman's car in a supermarket parking lot. While the woman was being assaulted, other shoppers came to her rescue — including one who clubbed the alleged carjacker with a frozen turkey. The suspect, despite serious head injuries, escaped in the car. However, police arrested him a short time later.
