They came away with new information on North Korea's nuclear test, continuing problems in its nuclear program, a renewed confidence among North Korea's leaders as a result of the test, evidence of renewed vitality in North Korea's economy, especially in Pyongyang, and a clearer idea of why North Korea has agreed to return to the six party talks.
