Singer Teresa Brewer Dies at 76

Oct 21st, 2007 · While still a teenager, Teresa Brewer became a star when she released a perky little song called "Music, Music, Music" in 1950. For four decades, she continued to enchant with songs like "Ricochet," "Till I Waltz Again With You," and "A Sweet Old Fashioned Girl." Teresa Brewer died last week at the age of 76, and we reprise a 1991 interview as a remembrance.

That's One Tough Bird ****

Jan 29th, 2007 · Don't use the phrase "dead duck" around this bird. A hunter shot a duck in Florida and threw it in his refrigerator, but two days later, when his wife opened the door, the duck lifted its head. So they took it into surgery, where it had a bad reaction to anesthesia and was declared dead on the operating table -- only to be revived again. The duck has a name now: Perky.

The iPod of the Brain *
