Judge Urged To Jail Madoff Without Bail

Madoff Victims Sell Memorabilia On eBay

Jan 5th, 2009 · Clients of Bernard Madoff may have lost their money, but they did come away with souvenirs. Clients and former employees are selling items with the company's name. Madoff is accused of the biggest Ponzi scheme in history. Former clients are using the auction site eBay to sell things like T-shirts, beach towels, umbrellas, coolers, binoculars, flashlights and tote bags. The postings tell buyers they can "own a piece of history!"

Hearing: Why Didn't SEC Detect Madoff Scandal?

Jan 5th, 2009 · The House Financial Services Committee holds a hearing Monday into the scandal involving disgraced investor Bernard Madoff. Madoff is accused of running a $50 billion Ponzi scheme. Disgraced Investors Stolen Statue Returned *

Jan 2nd, 2009 · Bernard Madoff was robbed. The Wall Street investor is accused of making billions of dollars disappear in an alleged Ponzi scheme. And now we know that somebody made off with a statue from his Florida estate. It was a copper statue, worth $10,000 dollars. After they took it, the mysterious robbers brought it back. And they attached a note: "Lesson: Return stolen property to rightful owners."
