Oct 5th, 2006 · Florida's Treasure Coast has become a hot spot for a new suburban drug problem: marijuana grow houses. Authorities have busted more than 50 grow houses in the Port St. Lucie that were part of an ingenious scheme. Drug bosses bought houses for people who wanted to move to the beach community and were willing to raise pot on contract.
