Their findings indicate that HIV arrived in the region much earlier than previously thought, around the turn of the century.

Mar 27th, 2008 · "Snake oil" is a term that means "fake." But would you believe snakes in a bottle of vodka are really an "ancient Asian elixir"? People bought the idea -- for $23 a bottle -- but the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission didn't. It had the rattlesnake rancher known as "Bayou Bob" arrested for selling liquor without a license. Bayou Bob says he'll fight the charges. The liquor -- he says -- was just a preservative for the snake.
