Demonstrators say they will continue their campaign until the king relinquishes his powers. But they do not agree on a new political system to replace his absolute authority.
Apr 11th, 2006 · Thousands of immigrants in dozens of cities take to the streets to protest proposed changes to immigration law. In Washington, D.C., speeches advocating immigrants' rights were given in English and Spanish. Many protestors said that they couldn't vote, but they wanted their voices heard.
Aug 24th, 2005 · President Bush, traveling in Idaho, will deliver a speech to the National Guard there and visit with families of U.S. soldiers who died in Iraq. Speaking to reporters Tuesday, Bush delivered a pointed response to protestors who have staged demonstrations around the country calling for the U.S. to withdraw from Iraq.
Jul 20th, 2005 · Israeli demonstrators continue a standoff to oppose next month's planned withdrawal from Gaza. About 10,000 protestors have been camped out in a farming village in southern Israel since Monday. Israeli authorities said protesters would not be allowed to march in to Gaza as planned.
