He passed away from skin cancer. Meanwhile, the campaign to find a dog for the Obama family continues. Peruvians are lobbying for a bald, often toothless breed called the Peruvian Hairless Dog. They says it's perfect for children who are allergic. The puppy's official name is Machu Picchu but it answers to Ears.

The White House medical staff treated the bleeding finger. Barney held onto his territory, for now.

The Maryland Department of Correction already uses cell phone sniffing pooches to keep their jails safe.
