A trip to the rainforests of Indonesia by plane from New York, followed by a crumbling 30-year-old propeller plane, and by foot finally yielded a call from the elusive gibbon.

Jun 1st, 2009 · A Scottish tourist travelling through a rainforest in New Zealand had tucked his passport into a brightly colored bag stowed underneath the bus. When, along came a parrot, who made off with it. Police told a local newspaper that the passport has not been recovered and is unlikely to be located in the vast Fiordland rain forest.
