Nov 2nd, 2007 · A jury says a Kansas church has to pay more than $10 million in damages for protesting at the funeral of a U.S. Marine killed in Iraq. Church members waved signs saying, "Thank God for Dead Soldiers." They believe the war is God's retribution for U.S. tolerance of homosexuals.
Jul 20th, 2007 · Lawyers for CIA operative Valerie Plame say they plan to appeal a judge's decision dismissing Plame's lawsuit against Vice President Cheney and other current and former Bush administration officials. Plame claimed they leaked her covert CIA status in retribution for her husband's public criticism of the administration.
Jun 13th, 2007 · Another attack on one of the holiest Shiite Muslim shrines in Iraq has raised fears of a new wave of sectarian bloodletting. The bombing of the Al-Askariya shrine in Samarra, north of Baghdad, brought down the mosque's two minarets. Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki blamed al-Qaida for the attack and ordered a curfew in Baghdad in a bid to prevent new sectarian violence. Jamie Tarabay talks with Robert Siegel.
