Dec 12th, 2008 · Workers at a Sears may be among those who think you can never find a cop when you need one. They caught a shoplifter at the store in Frederick, Md. He said he was stealing stuff to make his car payment. And the shoplifter waited patiently for three hours for the officers to show up. When police never came, the employees sent the man home. Later, police phoned him. He came in for questioning the next day and admitted to the thefts.
