Records May Shed Light on MIA from Korea

Mar 1st, 2008 · China and the United States signed an arrangement Friday granting the U.S. limited but long-desired access to military records of the People's Liberation Army. U.S. officials hope the records will help clarify the fate of some 8,000 servicemen still unaccounted for from the Korean War. Charles Ray, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for POW/missing personnel affairs, who signed the agreement, talks to Jacki Lyden.

Shiite Police Blamed for Planting Roadside Bombs

Wild Blue Country Tours Front Lines for U.S. Military

Jan 7th, 2007 · Wild Blue Country is not your ordinary country/rock band. For one thing, its members recently had to undergo weapons and chemical-attack training. They're a part of the U.S. Air Force Academy Band, and last summer toured across Iraq and Afghanistan, performing for servicemen and women near the front lines. Although one concert was interrupted by a rocket-propelled grenade attack, band members say it was the musical experience of a lifetime.
