Floyd Boring, 92, changed the course of history when he and White House police officers took on two armed men during a shootout near Blair House, where Truman was staying during White House renovations.
Dec 17th, 2007 · A tape of a September shootout in Baghdad involving Blackwater USA leaves Iraqi's unable to distinguish between U.S. military personnel and private security contractors. The Blackwater shootout left 17 Iraqis dead.

Nov 10th, 2007 · Two of the guns owned by Mexican revolutionary general Pancho Villa are put up for auction in Texas. One was believed to be a gift commemorating Villa's capture of the Mexican state of Chihuahua in 1914. The other was dropped during a horseback shootout along the Rio Grande. Auction manager Tom Burks talks about the day's featured items.
