Oct 22nd, 2007 · Like all commercial airports, the one at Sioux City, Iowa is known by a three-letter code. But in Sioux City's case, the letters are S-U-X. Some people pronounce it "sucks." Years ago city officials tried for a more flattering code. But they found nothing they liked. So now the airport is embracing the name with T-shirts, caps, and a new slogan: "Fly SUX."
