Smuggler Snuggles with Rapacious Reptiles

Mar 27th, 2007 · A "strangely fat" woman was stopped at the Gaza-Egypt border and searched by a female border guard who found, under veils and robes, three 20-inch crocodiles. Their jaws were tied shut with string. The guard ran screaming, but one checkpoint official allowed: "everybody was admiring a woman who is able to tie crocodiles to her body."

Georgia Reports an Attempt to Smuggle Uranium *

Jan 25th, 2007 · Georgia says its security services have foiled an attempt by a Russian smuggler to sell weapons-grade uranium. Georgia's Interior Ministry says the man was arrested as he tried to sell a few ounces of highly enriched uranium for $1 million to a Georgian agent. The man said he had access to much more uranium.
