They are getting an all-expenses-paid weekend vacation that includes a day at Disneyland. But there are serious questions about the organizer of the so-called Snowball Express, which have triggered concerns about the integrity of the enterprise.
Aug 9th, 2006 · When American literary giant Ernest Hemingway took his own life in 1961, he left the world a rich legacy, including some classic novels, a reputation for drinking and womanizing and a six-toed pet cat named Snowball. That cat's descendants now run free at the Hemingway Home and Museum in Key West, Fla., and museum officials are fighting to keep it that way.
Jul 25th, 2006 · "Snowballs" are a summer-time obsession in New Orleans. Snowballs are shaved-ice treats with flavored syrup that are sold from corner stands. One of the best is Hansen's Sno-Bliz. Ernest and Mary Hansen started their business during the Depression. Both died soon after Hurricane Katrina and their granddaughter, Ashley, has taken over.
