Jan 24th, 2007 · Some residents of the hamlet of Katonah , N.Y., are miffed that their neighbor, Martha Stewart, is trying to trademark the village's name. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia is selling some furniture as part of a "Katonah Collection." The company has said Stewart named the line to honor her new hometown. But not everyone feels honored.
Oct 26th, 2006 · Audio engineer Martyn Stewart describes his experiences recording birds at the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. Millions of birds sing 24 hours a day there during the breeding season, and the refuge explodes with life -- a sharp contrast to reports by some who hope to drill for oil in the area, who say the refuge is a frozen wasteland. Oct 16th, 2006 · Civil rights attorney Lynne Stewart is sentenced to 28 months in prison, despite facing a penalty of up to 30 years. Stewart was convicted in 2005 of aiding terrorists by allowing her imprisoned client, the blind Sheik Omar Abdul Rahman, to communicate with the outside world.
