Tubbs Jones was the first African-American woman elected to Congress from Ohio, and the first to serve on the powerful House Ways and Means committee. Ohio Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones suffered a brain aneurism while driving Tuesday in her home district of Cleveland, and was pronounced dead Wednesday. She was 58 years old.
