Aug 25th, 2008 · A two-man punctuation patrol went a little too far. Jeff Deck and Benjamin Herson have been traveling the country correcting punctuation on signs. But they'll be paying a hefty fine after altering a historic hand-painted sign at the Grand Canyon — something federal authorities call vandalism. The pair did leave one misspelling on the old Grand Canyon sign: "emense".
Jul 3rd, 2008 · When students from nearby Middlebury College broke into the Homer Noble Farm in Ripton, Vt. — the place where poet Robert Frost spent his summer in 1963 — and trashed the house, some of those charged with trespassing and vandalism accepted an unusual plea agreement.

Apr 12th, 2008 · Vandals decapitated a life-size topiary of Ringo Starr in Liverpool, England, last weekend after he said he missed nothing about the city. An Italian sculptor created the leafy tribute to Starr and the other Beatles to celebrate Liverpool's designation as a 2008 "European Capital of Culture."
Sep 12th, 2007 · Wildlife officials in Aspen, Colo., have seen a spike in close encounters between local residents and black bears. Bears are breaking into homes, vandalizing property and ratcheting up anxiety levels throughout the community.

Aug 25th, 2006 · The tiny hilltop village of Qawza is home to a small Christian community. In the first days of August the Israeli army moved into Qawza and occupied buildings, homes, and the local church. Many of the occupied buildings, including the church were vandalized. We speak to a couple of residents who stayed in the village while the Israelis were there.
