Oct 24th, 2007 · Among the thousands of wildfire evacuees at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium are about 100 elderly nursing home residents. Many have spent the past three days in wheelchairs, waiting for a time when it's safe for them to return to the nursing home.
Oct 8th, 2007 · Michele Norris talks to Nicolai Calabria, 13, who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro this summer. He climbed the 19,000-foot mountain on crutches, braving artic temperatures. Calabria was born without a right leg, and was forced to use his upper body strength to battle the mountain. Donations from his trek will provide 1,000 wheelchairs to the people of Tanzania.
