Nov 14th, 2008 · If you ever get frustrated waiting for a bank teller, consider the feelings of a guy in York County, Penn. He had one simple request. He just wanted to rob the bank. But when he demanded money, the teller fainted. The robber proceeded to two more windows. But those tellers had no money. The bank had just opened, and their drawers weren't filled. The robber fled after threatening to file a complaint with management.

Oct 22nd, 2008 · In Southern California, they sure love their cars. And in Santa Anta, motorists didn't even have to get out of their vehicles to vote. On Monday, the city set up drive-thru voting booths. Voters could confirm they're registered, then pull ahead into lanes leading to electronic voting machines, roll down the window and cast their vote. The only thing missing, fries.

The band's music can be pretty chaotic — loud and rumbling, with multiple instruments fighting to be heard. And singer Toby Leaman likes to belt out his vocals in a window-rattling, raspy growl.

Oct 13th, 2008 · Tourists on a tight budget in Switzerland may soon have the option of sleeping in the world's first "zero-star hotel" — a converted nuclear bunker. If the local town approves, for a less than $13-a-night, guests will have the chance to hunker down in the bunker. It's windowless, but it does have real hotel duvets. And, in case of emergency, the hotel can be converted back to a nuclear bunker within 24 hours.

At Michigan State University, Mike Robell walked into his new dorm room and discovered he was literally walking in his father's footsteps. Of 8,000 dorm rooms, Mike ended up in the same room that his dad, Rich, had. Rich recognized not just the room number, but the same broken window latch.
